Maintenance Technician - Forklift & Facility Maintenance

Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Forklift & Facility Maintenance Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Day shift) Job Description We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our facility and equipment maintenance needs. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on technician looking for a stable, full-time day-shift schedule with a path to permanent hire. In this role, you'll handle general building maintenance and keep our sit-down forklifts and clamp attachments running safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, doors, etc.) Diagnose and repair sit-down forklifts and clamp equipment Complete routine inspections and safety checks on material handling equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Keep accurate maintenance and repair records Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime Follow all safety protocols and procedures What We're Looking For Experience in building/facility maintenance Hands-on experience with sit-down forklift and clamp maintenance/repair Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Schedule & Pay Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM $25–$31/hour based on experience Temp-to-hire with potential for permanent placement EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
