Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with the ability to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the SICU.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, making necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in critical care nursing, specifically in SICU.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Recent experience within SICU or travel experience will be considered.
