As a HVAC Service Technician, you will: Diagnose and repair residential air conditioning, heating, and heat pump systems Perform advanced troubleshooting on electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control systems Complete seasonal maintenance and system evaluations Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally with homeowners Identify opportunities to improve system performance and efficiency Complete digital work orders and documentation using company software Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance Follow company safety standards and service procedures Required Qualifications: EPA Universal Certification Active Texas TDLR Registration Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Clean driving record Excellent customer communication skills Ability to work independently while supporting the team Professional attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience Experience diagnosing and servicing communicating systems, inverter-driven equipment, and traditional HVAC systems Strong understanding of airflow diagnostics, static pressure testing, duct system performance, refrigerant charging, and electrical troubleshooting Experience with major HVAC brands including Trane, Ruud, Carrier, Lennox, and Goodman Familiarity with indoor air quality products including air purifiers, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, and UV systems Experience using modern diagnostic tools and software such as MeasureQuick, Fieldpiece instruments, and digital commissioning tools Strong customer communication, education, and service sales skillsAbility to explain repair and replacement options clearly and professionally to homeowners Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Performance bonuses Overtime opportunities Signing bonus of $2,500 to $5,000 Year-round work Company vehicle Fuel card Company uniforms Company-provided technology Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Gap Medical Coverage Accident Insurance Short-Term Disability Coverage IRA Retirement Plan with 3% Company Match Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Ongoing Training and Professional Development Why Technicians Choose Weiss We believe great technicians should be respected, supported, and rewarded.
