Overview: Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, and seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Technician

Position: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Louisville, KY

Duration: 3-6 months+ temp-to-hire!!!

Pay rate: $19/hr

Note:

• ONSITE role.
• Work schedule: 40 hours/ week | M-F 2PM-10:30PM with potential overtime
• Important: KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License is REQUIRED, once hired, employees will be required to obtain a KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center.
• Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving and shipping.
• Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals; and has the ability to work productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
• Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Processes orders for shipping
• Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
• Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping
• Loads product into truck
• Complies with policies, procedures and SOP’s
• Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Shared ICARE principles Job Requirements
• Pharmacy Assistant certification
• Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds
