Job Description

Position Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Work Location: Louisville KY, 40219

Assignment Duration: 3 Months

Work Schedule: M-F 2PM-10:30PM with potential overtime

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary: Employees will need to be able to follow on screen prompts to ensure all orders are both picked and packed according to program specifications. These tasks will require a keen attention to detail. There may be occasional mandatory overtime necessary in order to complete the daily workload.

Background & Context: Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center.

Key Responsibilities:

Processes orders for shipping

Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping

Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping * Loads product into truck

Complies with policies, procedures and SOP's

Adheres to and promotes the Company's Shared ICARE principles

Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals

Works productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks

Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy

Demonstrates problem resolution skills: ability to recognize, address and escalate issues to management

Qualification & Experience:

Pharmacy Assistant certification

Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds

Keen attention to detail

Reliable transportation to and from work\

Willing to work any necessary overtime

Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable): Works in a fast-paced production environment. Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds. Potential mandatory overtime.

Additional Information (If Applicable): Once hired, employees will be required to obtain a KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License at their own expense, $25. This can be completed on site.
