Job Description


A leading behavioral health hospital in northeast Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent opportunity on an Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit.


This inpatient behavioral health campus serves adult psychiatric patients requiring acute stabilization and treatment in a hospital-based setting. The organization is known for strong nursing support, career growth, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients
• Complete assessments and medication administration
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and individualized care plans
• Promote patient safety and therapeutic communication

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Indiana or compact)
• BLS required
• Behavioral health, inpatient psych, ER, detox, corrections, or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
