2nd shift cnc machinist

We are seeking experienced and qualified CNC Machinists looking to work in the Pineville, NC area! If you have solid foundational setup skills and are eager to grow, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Set up parts using location fixtures, work holding, and tool holders.
• Set tool length offsets and select appropriate speeds and feeds for materials.
• Read blueprints, use precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers), and check part accuracy.
• Perform basic G-code and M-code edits at the control.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on CNC machine setup and operating experience.
• Basic understanding of G & M code.
• Ability to select appropriate tooling based on material types.

Pluses:

• Experience with Haas or Fanuc controls.
• Familiarity with GD&T basics.
• Metric shop experience.

salary: $27 - $27.01 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Required Skills include:

• Understanding of location fixtures, setting tool lengths, choosing appropriate materials and tool-holding fixtures
• Speed and Feed selection - understanding ins and outs of the tools and materials
• Basic experience with G-code and M-code
• Understanding of blueprints, measurements, use of precise measuring devices
• Experience with Haas/Fanuc machines is a plus!!!
• GD&T basics and metric shop experience also a plus!!!

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working weekends
