QA/QC Inspector - 2nd Shift

Title QA/QC Inspector – 2nd Shift Location Westfield, IN Duration 12 months Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Responsibilities Inspect all final assemblies within manufacturing. Provide independent, unbiased evaluation of finished devices or work of others. Document and retain evaluation results through device batch record. Read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment to inspect parts. Analyze failures and determine solutions. Perform in-process/final inspections and audits as required. Work in compliance with Abbott SH Procedures and cGMP guidelines. Interface with engineers on new product development, inspections, and non-conformance results. Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures. Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date. Clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to all levels of quality management, in both written and oral form. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external customers such as tours. Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations. Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance inspection processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics. Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed. Qualifications Experience level: 0-2 years. High School Diploma required.
