General Production WorkerThe General Production Worker in Manufacturing assists with all aspects of production and quality control testing of raw and process materials for the Transplant Diagnostics business.ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality assay manufacturing by following standard procedures for dispensing biological reagents.Prepare reagents and buffers.Print labels and label bottles, vials, and boxes.Package, seal, and scan assays.Perform production tasks on different product lines as needed.Responsible for the safe and secure storage and monitoring of inventories, products, and in-house supplies.Set up and operate equipment of moderate complexity.Update raw material inventories.Assist in processing final product and prepare buffer solutions.Assist in maintaining a safe environment.Develop, write, and institute necessary solutions for problems that may arise in the department.Efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Assist supervisor in all aspects of manufacturing processes.Maintain confidentiality of laboratory data and processes.Maintain work schedules as assigned.Notify supervisor or manager of any unsafe conditions and take appropriate corrective actions.Essential SkillsGeneral laborProductionPackagingInspectionAssemblyMachine operationAdditional Skills & QualificationsGED or High School DiplomaAbility to work in a manufacturing settingWhy Work Here?When you're part of the team, you'll do important work, like helping customers find cures for cancer, protecting the environment, or ensuring our food is safe.
