Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nursing position located within a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative care to surgical patients, ensuring safety, aseptic techniques, and effective communication with the surgical team. The position requires adherence to all safety protocols and standards to support patient outcomes throughout the surgical process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; valid MA RN license; BLS certification upon hire; AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire; OR nursing experience preferred; minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification strongly preferred
• Additional Information: Responsible for maintaining sterile fields, verifying patient identity, applying aseptic techniques, managing surgical supplies and specimens, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during operative procedures. Provides patient and family education, documents nursing interventions, and maintains compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
