Located in Oroville, CA Salary: $20/hr Express Employment is looking for a General Labor/Automotive Technician Assistant We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Laborer. The ideal candidate should have basic automotive knowledge, including tire repair and brake service, and be willing to assist with various shop duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of automotive experience who wants to grow in the industry. (Associates must meet requirements as stated in the handbook) Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pay: $20/hour Location: Oroville, CA Job Description:- Assist technicians with general automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Perform basic tire repairs, tire installation, and tire rotations.
- Assist with brake inspections and basic brake service.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Move vehicles safely around the shop and parking area.
- Check fluid levels and perform basic vehicle inspections.
- Help with loading, unloading, and organizing shop equipment and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an automotive shop or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of tire repair and brake systems.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
