Job Description: This travel healthcare opportunity is tailored for experienced OB/L&D nurses who enjoy the fast-paced world of labor and postpartum care. You’ll be providing care to postpartum mothers, stable antepartum patients, newborns, GYN, and occasionally stepping in for Med-Surg overflow, often acting as a second RN in the Special Care Nursery. The role involves floating as needed to different units, primarily offering helping hands, but also caring for a med-surg patient from time to time. You’ll utilize equipment like EPIC One Chart, Omnicell, Philips Vitals Machines, and Medula Breast Pumps to support patient care. Expect to work variable shifts on a 12-hour rotating schedule, including weekends, with the liberty of helping out across departments whenever your expertise is needed.
