Occupational Therapist (School Based)We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team in Fayette. This role involves working within a school setting to support students in achieving their educational goals by addressing physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents.Key responsibilities include:Evaluating students' abilities and developing individualized intervention plans.Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.Implementing therapeutic activities and exercises to improve students' functional skills.Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.Providing training and resources to teachers and staff to support students' occupational needs.Qualifications include:Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.Current state licensure as an occupational therapist.Experience working in a school setting is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.This is an excellent opportunity for an occupational therapist who is eager to work in a dynamic school environment and contribute to the development and well-being of students.
