Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position located in Passaic, New Jersey. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates will support radiologists in performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures and ensure proper processing and transmission of images to PACS. All candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Passaic, New Jersey
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • At least one year of acute, clinical radiology experience
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Needs CT/Fusions Certification
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and supports radiologists by providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include processing and transmitting images to PACS.
