Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including joint replacements, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. The RN is responsible for observing, assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of all patients in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist in the operating room for various surgical procedures.
• Scrub and circulate as needed across all service lines.
• Ensure adherence to safety and health protocols within the surgical environment.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RN, techs, and clinical coordinators.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required; PALS and CNOR preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute care Operating Room setting.
• Experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures (knee and hip) is mandatory.
