Certified Nursing AssistantIf you're a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant, Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center wants to meet you! It is a 175-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in West Babylon. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be responsible for performing a variety of care practices including:Responding to call bells to assist residentsHelping residents with grooming and hygieneAssistance with food trays and feedingAssists with movement to wheelchair or activity areasProvides direct and indirect resident care servicesConforms with the HIPAA Compliance Program and applicable facility policies for patient privacy.Qualifications:Currently certified by the New York State Department of Health (new grads encouraged to apply)Must be able to lift residents (minimum 50 pounds) and turn and position numerous times throughout the day.Must have the ability to transfer a resident from sitting to standing position and vice versa.Must have the ability to climb stairs, bend, maneuver equipment and push small carts.
