The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition within our organization is on the lookout for a Transplant Hepatologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, either on an academic or master clinician track. About the Division:

Our general GI Section is expanding its clinical and research programs in areas such as IBD, esophageal disorders, complex polypectomy, the application of AI in endoscopy, and functional GI diseases. The transplant hepatology section is recognized for hosting one of the longest-standing liver transplant programs in the nation. Additionally, we have a nationally acclaimed Advanced Endoscopy Section focused on ERCP, EUS, and the management of complex pancreas and biliary disorders. The Division is dedicated to achieving excellence across its three primary missions: patient care, education, and research.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.

• Board certification in internal medicine and board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology from the ABIM.

• Advanced training and clinical experience in hepatology and/or transplant hepatology are highly preferred.

• Proven excellence in patient care, a passion for medical education, and strong teaching abilities.

• Possession or the ability to obtain a medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, along with meeting the necessary criteria for credentialing and privileges.

• Eligibility to receive work authorization in the U.S. from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status as per VISA requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is jointly employed by our organization and the University. The total salary is competitive and aligned with AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical compensation, reflective of clinical responsibilities, is provided through our organization. The base salary range for this clinical role is between $397,000 and $435,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation from the University will be based on academic contributions.
