Location: Mount Holly - 175 Madison Avenue Remote Type: On-Site Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Regular Time Type: Part time Work Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours: 27 Additional Locations: Job Information: Job Summary: Performs high quality Ultrasound examinations in accordance with approved techniques and protocols. Supports Virtua Health Mission & Vision Statements and adheres to Virtua Health’s Policies and Procedures. Position Responsibilities Consistently performs high quality obstetrical Ultrasound studies for our various patient populations according to protocols established by Perinatalogists/AIUM for high-risk maternity patients. Demonstrate ability to recognize and accurately document pathology identified in scans. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Ultrasound and Trophon equipment. Performs a preliminary evaluation for each patient. Obtains pertinent medical history prior to exam; obtains previous examinations and reports. Reviews and verifies physician’s orders. Responds to changes in the work schedule and locations. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of Viewpoint and hospital-based (EPIC) computer programs and adheres to all policies and practices regarding confidentiality of all electronic communications Prepares room as needed for invasive procedures familiar with all equipment utilized for invasive procedures Assists and scans, as needed, during invasive procedures. Position Qualifications Required: Required Experience: Experience preferred OB all trimesters, GYN with transvaginal a plus Required Education: Formal education in an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program with clinical training/experience in OB and/or MFM Training / Certification / Licensure: Must be registered with: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography OB-GYN (ARDMS) or board eligible ARDMS OB/GYN and board certified within 12 months of hire Hourly Rate: $43.06 - $66.95 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
