Commercial Attorney

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Director - Commercial Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and manage complex legal matters related to revenue-generating commercial agreements, including ISP platform access agreements and vendor contracts, in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities: Oversee and manage complex legal projects related to the company's commercial transactions across multiple states Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on issues related to commercial relationships with ISPs and vendors Ensure compliance with laws and regulations while implementing risk management strategies to protect commercial interests Required qualifications: Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law in good standing 8+ years of experience in commercial transactions and contract negotiation, preferably in telecommunications or infrastructure Expertise in drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements Experience with dispute management and M&A integration related to commercial agreements Knowledge of wholesale fiber and telecommunications industry practices is a plus
