About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred License: Pending licenses accepted; must obtain prior to starting Certifications: ARRT, BLS, SCRQSAS required Must-Have: Ability to float to other locations as needed Description: X-Ray Tech needed for urgent care locations. May float to other campuses if required. Variable shifts available for days and evenings, totaling 40 hours each week. Day Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Evening Hours: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 9:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Weekend coverage is required. When not performing X-Rays, technicians will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, and updating medical charts. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Candidates must comply with the attendance policy. Travelers who miss more than two shifts without a reasonable explanation may have their contracts reviewed for cancellation. Recent experience with specific charting systems is preferred but not required. Candidates must complete pass/fail tests during orientation. Compliance documents are required prior to the start of the assignment.
