Positions can include: Teaching assistants Early Childhood teachers (ages infant through PreK) These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. Essential Functions Support teaching endeavors related to area of specificity. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written communication. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role. Skills associated with early childhood learning, K-12 certified professionals and some post-secondary education Required Qualifications Professional training or education related to area of teaching specificity. PDIS Credential level 2 or higher 1-2 years experience working with children ages 0-6 years old Please note that the required qualifications will vary for each position type. Hourly Range The hourly range for this position is $18.81 - $22.00. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
