Glorioso's Italian Market Cafe Clerk Opportunity

Family-owned since 1946, Glorioso's Italian Market is in need of part-time and full-time Cafe Clerks for our store. At Glorioso's, we want our customers to have a positive and interactive experience while shopping and tasting our variety of baked goods, gelato and coffee creations. We are looking for motivated, dedicated and passionate people to enhance our bakery/caf area.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing premier customer service, including greeting and responding to questions
• Enthusiastically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
• Preparing and selling coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, latte and cappuccino
• Brewing coffee and tea and filling containers with requested beverages
• Preparing cold beverages and filling containers with requested beverages
• Handling cash transactions with customers using cash registers
• Taking and filling special orders for customers
• Packaging, labeling and pricing products for self-service
• Maintaining and filling bakery trays, cookie trays, gelato and display cases
• Operating the scale
• Organizing and restocking supplies
• Following sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assisting in cleaning duties
• Assisting in other duties, as assigned
