Floating Teller

Department: St. Augustine Branch/Retail Banking Openings: One (1) Position Overview Barwick Banking Company is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Floating Teller to provide support across multiple branch locations in Florida. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, accurately processing transactions and ensuring operational efficiency while meeting the staffing needs of various branches. The ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in different branch environments while maintaining positive and professional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers and cash advances. Balance cash drawers and maintain compliance with all bank policies and procedures. Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries professionally. Support branch operations by assisting team members and adapting quickly to different branch locations and staffing needs. Promote bank products and services that meet customer financial needs. Identify opportunities to refer customers to appropriate banking specialists. Maintain knowledge of bank regulations, security procedures and compliance requirements. Assist with opening and closing branch operations as needed. Travel between assigned branch locations based on business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous teller, cash handling, customer service, or banking experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel and work at multiple branch locations. Proficiency with banking systems and basic computer applications preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all banking regulations. This position operates in a professional retail banking environment. The Floating Teller will work in various branch locations throughout Florida and may be required to travel between branches. The role involves frequent customer interaction, extended periods of standing and occasional lifting of cash boxes, coin bags and office supplies up to 25 pounds.
