If you enjoy the driving profession but aren't looking for an over-the-road career, Primetals may be the answer to your job search. We are currently seeking to fill the role of 1st shift Truck Driver in our Blytheville, AR location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates flat-bed truck to transport large industrial equipment.
• Distance primarily within 10 miles of our location in Blytheville, AR. Some OTR is possible but seldom.
• Driver is responsible for rigging, loading and unloading truck.
• Driver is required to perform daily inspections as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
• Maintains logbook and other documents to comply with DOT regulations.
• When not operating truck, the driver is required to perform mechanic functions in support of the department.
• Assembles, dismantles, repairs, and installs industrial machinery and equipment using a wide range of hand and power tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Class A, Commercial Driver License
