RN Field Case Manager – Northern Virginia Region Primary purpose: Sedgwick Field Case Managers work face-to-face with injured workers and medical providers to facilitate advocacy, medical treatment, and timely return-to-work. Frequent travel required; home-based office. Must live in the specified region (Fairfax/Chantilly, Washington, DC). Must be an RN with preferred 1.5 years of prior Field Case Manager workers’ compensation experience. Responsibilities Serve as patient advocate to support, guide and coordinate care for injured workers, families, and caregivers throughout recovery. Assist injured workers in achieving recovery and autonomy through advocacy and communication. Identify appropriate providers and facilities and ensure timely, cost-effective use of resources to optimize value for client and reimbursement source. Qualifications RN licensure required. Valid driver's license. High-speed internet required. Strong conceptual thinking, judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion. Ability to handle work-related stress, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Computer keyboarding skill; travel as required. Good hearing, vision, and speech. Benefits Blended work environment.
