Job Title: CVOR CST Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care CVOR Tech experience License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, DORA, and NBSTA Certifications required Must-Have: Candidates must have minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience. Candidates must possess BLS, DORA, and NBSTA Certifications. Candidates must be proficient in Open Heart experience. Description: This position involves working with the Heart Team. Teams consist of 3 staff members during day shifts: 2 RNs and 1 CST Tech. Night shifts consist of teams with 2 staff members: 1 RN and 1 CST Tech. Patient ratios are 1:1. Common equipment includes GE and Stryker. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech / CPN. Typical procedures performed include CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements. Candidates must be flexible, confident, and team-oriented. Patient experience and communication with staff and providers are a priority. Floating within a 25-mile radius may be required. Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing. No weekend shifts are required. Candidates with prior Meditech experience and prior travel experience as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities will be prioritized. Cardiovascular experience is preferred.
