Planning Team Lead

The Planning Team Lead is responsible for leading a team in establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the converting production schedule. Establishing the production plan will involve working closely with operations leaders, and others to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the company objectives relative to customer service, efficient resource/capacity utilization and inventory management.

Responsibilities include managing the team, establishing production orders, meeting with cross-functional teams, monitoring schedule performance, directing quality team, managing external converting production requirements, managing converting warehouse/operations finished goods inventory management, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a minimum associate degree, preferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline, 3-5 years relevant experience, strong analytical skills, highly organized and detail oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, experience in SAP ERP system, advance excel user experience, thorough understanding of production and procurement processes.

Competencies include coaching, decision making, client focus, partnership, and team development.

Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 pounds, close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to travel occasionally.
