Medical Assistant CMA/MA

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive clinical support in a busy healthcare setting by preparing patients for exams, assisting physicians, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. This role emphasizes patient care, documentation, and compliance with safety standards to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare patients for exams and procedures by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during testing, examinations, and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collect and process specimens, perform EKGs, and administer injections.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and sterilize exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies.
  
  
• 
  Support patient mobility and transportation needs to ensure comfort.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical activities accurately and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Include at least 18 months of Medical Assistant experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Possess active CMA or MA certification or credential.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to learn vascular diagnoses and related clinical workflows.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong attention to detail, adaptability, and patient care commitment.
  
  
• 
  Must be able to work M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
