Telemetry Unit Opportunity

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Unit will accept 20+ week contracts up to February 27, 2027. Required skills/certs/exp: Minimum years of experience: 2 years' experience required. Traveler experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers. Locals accepted/rate difference: Yes. Skills: Telemetry Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75%. Certs: BCLS, NIH, IV Start, Telemetry Preferred skills/certs/exp: Certs: ACLS.

Job details:

• Target ratios: 1:5-7 could fluctuate based on unit needs/surge; daily census= 39. 40 beds.
• Unit will accept 20+ week contracts up to February 27, 2027. 36 or 48 hours can be offered.
• Shift: 12 hour nights 18:45 - 07:15.
• Float requirement: Yes.
• Weekend requirement: 2-3 in 6 weeks.

Patient diagnoses: The 4th floor of Novant Health Matthews Medical Center ("NHMMC") is a 40 bed medical surgical unit with an emphasis in bariatrics and orthopedics providing twenty-four hour inpatient care. Unit goals include: providing exemplary customer service and patient care, an environment that fosters Novant Health mission, vision and values, the forming of collegial relationships with physician Patient population: Adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Unit systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR, Voalte. Unit orientation: 36 hours; travelers must be available all week during week one for hospital orientation. Scrubs: Not provided.
