What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality care to pediatric ICU patients with diagnoses such as MS, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, post-op neuro or ortho surgeries
• Titrate medications and IV drips including pressors, insulin, heparin, and sedation agents
• Manage complex patient needs including wound care, drains, and telemetry monitoring
• Collect peripheral blood draws and ensure proper documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with primary & resource nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, RTs, and other team members
• Participate in unit orientation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain one
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience; experience in adult ICU/Med/Tele preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (NRP preferred)
• Strong PIV, CVL, telemetry, wound care, and titration skills
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and rotating holidays and weekends
