Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our team in Dayton. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead and manage comprehensive tax engagements, offering strategic advice to clients and driving business success. As a Tax Manager, you will be the cornerstone of client relationships, guiding them through intricate tax challenges and identifying opportunities for growth.What We Offer:A vibrant, relationship-driven work culture grounded in respect, excellence, accountability, and leadership.Direct client interaction and a focus on advisory services.Extensive opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Continuous coaching, mentorship, and leadership training.Five weeks of paid time off plus an additional firm-wide shutdown week.A flexible hybrid work environment with no mandatory office schedule.Key Responsibilities:Spearhead complex tax engagements from initial planning to final delivery.Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns, research, and consulting projects.Advise clients on proactive tax strategies to minimize exposure.Act as a primary advisor and relationship manager for clients.Mentor and develop emerging tax professionals.Oversee multiple engagements, budgets, and timelines effectively.Identify and capitalize on opportunities to provide additional value to clients.Qualifications:A CPA, EA, CA, or similar professional designation.8 to 15 years of public accounting tax experience with escalating responsibilities.Robust technical tax, research, and planning expertise.Proven experience in managing client relationships and complex engagements.A passion for cultivating talent and delivering outstanding client service.Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.If you are eager to move beyond tax compliance, forge meaningful client relationships, and grow with a dynamic firm committed to your professional success, we look forward to discussing how you can make a significant impact in this role.Type: direct hire
