This role involves conducting various imaging examinations essential for diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities include performing plain films, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating room exams, as well as conducting Bone Density assessments (BD registry required).

• Must engage in at least 30% of FTE in a secondary modality to qualify for a Multiple Modality position.
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
• Implement safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
• Assist physicians in performing special and advanced procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards in all activities.
• Submit high-quality images and documentation to PACS promptly, ensuring correct lead markers and patient data/history.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
• Work with a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program is required.

No prior experience is necessary.

• Regular standing and walking.
• Frequent use of vision for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances.
• Regularly use hearing and speech for effective communication.
• Ability to distinguish body sounds and detect alarms or machinery malfunctions through hearing.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Regularly assist in moving patients.
• Frequent reaching, gripping, and data entry on a keyboard.
• Occasional lifting of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional color vision for identification and distinction.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements of limbs.
• Rarely kneeling or sitting.
