Compensation range: $26.85 - $34.38. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Shift: Varied. Shift length: 8 hours. Days off: Variable. Hours per pay period: 12.

Position Summary

The Anesthesia Technician is a self-motivated individual who can function independently. They will contribute to smooth room turnovers of the operating room. The Anesthesia technician will assist in disinfection of the room and anesthesia equipment processing.

Education / Training / Experience

Minimum: Previous experience as an Anesthesia Technician, OR Aide, or SPD Technician.

Licenses / Certifications

Minimum: Current CPR recognition.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Must have an understanding of Medical Terminology. Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Patients Served

This position is responsible for age-related physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of the following age groups of patients: Pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
