Department Details

We offer flexible scheduling options:

• Weekend-only contract: Work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Night contract: Shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, covering two out of three weekends.
• Variable shifts contract: Options include 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with two out of three weekends.

Experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care (Level 1 and Level 2) is required.

• A minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized care to patients. This role involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to plan, implement, and assess care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions, all while complying with the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative rules. Our nursing practice is grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Required competencies and certifications must be obtained and maintained.
