Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianThe responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment and plant facilities. This position will plan, install and repair a wide variety of complex electrical/mechanical equipment. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and with other facilities personnel to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness is accomplished. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.Essential duties, responsibilities and authorities include the following. Others may be assigned:Maintain, repair and/or replace plant machinery and equipment such as HVAC equipment, machine tools, lighting, plumbing, pumps and other equipment as needed.Troubleshoot and repair all facility equipment.Install and troubleshoot electric circuits up to 480 volts 3 phase.Actively participate in facility safety, health and environmental programs.Prepare and complete work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder hand tools and other metal working equipment.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
