Respiratory Therapy Manager

Role Overview: The Manager of Respiratory Therapy oversees all aspects of respiratory care services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. They evaluate patient respiratory needs, provide operational leadership, and ensure compliance with legal, accreditation, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise department staff, maintaining standards of practice and policies. Conduct respiratory assessments and administer medications as prescribed. Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with the Director of Critical Care to optimize clinical operations. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program; Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience in an acute hospital setting. Previous supervisory or managerial experience. Current Florida RRT license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (obtained within 6 months if necessary).
