2nd Shift : 4pm-12am/midnight w/ Mandatory OT

As a Forklift O perator , you are responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, load, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. The R eceiving Forklift Operator will also unload cartons, raw materials, and seasonings from incoming trailers. They will also load necessary items for production to fulfil their schedules.

Areas of Responsibilities :

• LOAD AND UNLOAD TRAILERS:

• Unloading freight on and off pallets

• Inspecting pallets for Vendor compliance, count, and damages

• Loading pallets into trailers

• Attention to detail

• Knowledge of BOLs and paperwork

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic

• Self-motivated with ability to work with limited to no supervision

• Independent decision maker, as needed, to accomplish tasks

• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills

• Occasional weekend work

• Ability to learn and operate a baler

• Supplying packaging film, labels, and raw materials for production

• Maintaining inventory and ordering of material, as needed

• OTHER DUTIES:

• Wear seatbelt while on lift

• Inspect forklift before the start of each shift

• Housekeeping and sweeping of storage areas

• Weekend Cleaning of packaging production areas , if applicable to your department

• Ability to work overtime, as needed

• JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT OR TOOLS:

• Hairnet

• Beard guard, if needed

• Earplugs

• Cloth or latex gloves

• Knife

• Paint Brush

• Forklift Operation

Education and Experience:

Required:

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
