Staff Electrical Engineer - Water/WastewaterWe are seeking a Project Manager to join our Water Solutions team, leading electrical engineering and construction projects in the Phoenix metropolitan area and across the U.S. West Coast. This role provides the opportunity to:Lead projects, including managing schedules, budgets, and staffingProvide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff supporting project designServe as a technical expert in electrical power distribution and plant electrical systemsSupport business development for enhanced electrical servicesBuild and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and driversOversee construction inspections and resolve electrical construction issuesCoordinate with local electrical utilities on project requirementsReview supplier submittals for compliance and qualityAct as a liaison between local and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control designSupport startup and testing of major electrical equipmentContinuously develop technical expertise and expand knowledge in specialty areasThis position primarily supports projects in the Phoenix, AZ area. Hybrid or flexible work arrangements may be available after 90 days, depending on manager discretion, performance, and project needs.The team focuses on delivering innovative water infrastructure solutions and integrated planning, design, and construction support for mission-critical facilities. Team members partner with clients to modernize water systems, optimize asset use, improve performance, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. The team is recognized among the top firms in water design, supporting projects in water supply, wastewater, and related sectors.Preferred Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or another U.S. jurisdiction5-8 years of experience in electrical design, planning, and construction servicesConsulting experience in water/wastewater projects preferredKnowledge of medium and low-voltage power distribution equipment, including VFDs and standby diesel generatorsFamiliarity with PLC hardware/software, network configuration, HMI, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and fiber optic cablingExperience in client-facing and business development rolesPower system analysis experience using SKM, ETAP, or similar software is a plusMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited programMinimum of 5 years of relevant work experienceAbility to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record verification as applicableCertifications:PE License required
