Job Details Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Oversee multiple projects or a single large-scale, complex project from pursuit through completion. Lead all aspects of preconstruction planning, including budgets, schedules, logistics, and risk mitigation. Serve as the primary contact for clients, architects, and consultants; foster long-term partnerships and ensure exceptional client service. Business Development & Client Relationships Partner with Market Leads and Preconstruction to support go/no-go assessments and proposal development. Lead or support interviews and presentations during project pursuits to win new business. Contribute to strategic account planning and post-project client debriefs to assess satisfaction and growth. Financial & Contract Management Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets and schedules; ensure alignment with client expectations and contract terms. Lead the negotiation, issuance, and management of subcontracts and purchase orders. Oversee cost control, forecasting, and monthly reporting with a strong focus on margin preservation. Manage all change orders and support dispute resolution with subcontractors or clients. Team Development & Collaboration Mentor and develop project staff; support professional growth through coaching and performance feedback. Partner with Preconstruction, Field Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure project alignment with strategic goals. Facilitate internal and external meetings to ensure open communication and accountability. Closeout & Quality Control Ensure all project documentation is current and properly archived. Coordinate final inspections, commissioning, and turnover to the client. Manage punch list resolution and project demobilization. Qualifications & Experience 8–12+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction. Proven success leading projects of $25M+ in sectors such as Life Sciences, Education (DSA), Healthcare (HCAI/OSHPD), Mission-Critical, or Corporate TI. Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing engagements and contribute to business development strategy. Strong knowledge of construction operations, contract management, financial reporting, and risk management. Proficient in construction management platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or P6) and MS Office Suite. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
