Sharepoint Developer

Responsibilities Formulate, implement, and manage advanced IT strategies for web design and development, including evaluating current IT capabilities, identifying gaps, and recommending actionable solutions to enhance operational efficiency and enable innovation Provide expert-level SharePoint and web development expertise, developing dashboards and workflows, managing front-end services including website/web page creation, permission groups, site administration, template creation, and solution creation Recommend best practices, troubleshoot issues, maintain knowledge of platform upgrades, and provide strategic guidance to leadership on the execution of key IT initiatives Collaborate with stakeholders to create IT roadmaps, define project scopes, align initiatives with business goals, and mentor junior team members to foster continuous improvement within the IT organization Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred) Master's degree and a minimum 10 years of experience OR a bachelors degree and 15 years of experience In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online and/or on-premises environments, including site collection administration, permission management, template creation, and workflow development Travel Requirements: Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements. Level of Responsibility: Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs. Level of Supervision Required: The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment. Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
