Dispatcher Position

Company: Blue Ridge Communications

Shift: Monday-Thursday 12PM-9PM and Sunday's 11AM-8PM

Training period will be done in the office. Once fully trained, working from home will be an option.

A reliable dispatcher is needed to dispatch service calls, verify work orders for accuracy and assist Field Technicians with changes, pricing and special equipment needs.

Will also be responsible for:

• Filing completed work orders
• Contacting customers when troubleshooting and/or scheduling work needs to be done
• Monitoring system outages
• Keeping Field Technicians informed of system problems
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Reliable transportation
• Previous experience working in a dispatch environment preferred
• Familiarity with the local area helpful
• Computer proficiency using the internet and Microsoft Office programs - Outlook Email, Word and Excel
• Excellent Communication Skills - Oral and Written
• Excellent Organizational Skills
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
