The role requires accurate specimen collection, proper documentation, sample preparation, and distribution, as well as performing assigned analytical tests. Key Responsibilities Collect and receive biological specimens, ensuring proper handling and documentation. Accurately enter data into computer systems and prepare samples for testing. Perform specified analytical testing following established protocols. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards. Follow all policies and codes of conduct to maintain quality and safety. Qualifications & Skills Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent, depending on regulations. Completion of a phlebotomy program or relevant experience. Certification in phlebotomy as per state requirements. Knowledge of lab resources and medical terminology (preferred). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple locations. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts. Completion of career ladder requirements for advancement (if applicable). Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English.
