CT Technologist
Location - Fairburn, GA
Duration - 10 Weeks
Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services at a freestanding emergency department in Union City, Georgia .
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of CT experience in a similar-sized facility and be proficient in performing diagnostic CT examinations in an emergency-care environment.
Schedule- Friday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Consistent weekend night schedule.
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain examinations clearly.
- Verify patient identity, clinical history, and exam information.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols.
- Assist with contrast-enhanced CT examinations as required.
- Follow appropriate contrast safety and screening procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after examinations.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to patient reactions or emergencies.
- Maintain radiation safety and follow ALARA principles.
- Ensure proper positioning and patient care during imaging procedures.
- Perform quality-control procedures and identify equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and departmental policies.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe imaging environment.
- Current ARRT – CT certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience .
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar-sized healthcare facility .
- Strong CT imaging and patient-care skills.
- Experience working in an emergency or acute-care environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of CT protocols and radiation safety.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to urgent and emergency imaging requests.
