Part Time Logistics Specialist - Sacramento, CA

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents TireHub professionally in all customer interactions and maintains safe driving practices while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong customer relationships. When you say YES to something bigger: This position has a starting wage of $20.70 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment with TireHub. Schedule: Monday through Friday 11am - 5pm; occasional Saturday mornings. Responsibilities General Warehousing Delivery Services Vehicle Maintenance Adjustments to allocations as business needs evolve Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks / box trucks / delivery vans) Follow TireHub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and position them in designated locations using the bin locator system Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols Conduct cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly Ensure compliance with TireHub policies and procedures Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based modules Complete other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or leadership Required Capabilities Ability to optimize work processes with a focus on continuous improvement Ability to manage ambiguity and drive results Collaborative with strong communication to meet objectives Qualifications At least 1 year of general work experience Must have a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving history (does not include driver’s permit) Must be 19 years old or older Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting Multitask in a fast-paced environment Load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles accurately and efficiently Work up to 35 feet above ground level Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift Follow traffic rules and drive TireHub vehicles to customer locations Work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with Manifest, GPS and navigation systems Maintain forklift certification Maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s license; minimum 2 years of driving experience required (3 years preferred) Working Conditions Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or greater following safety procedures Stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance as required May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Work in non-climate-controlled warehouses and customer locations Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required Night driving or inclement weather driving may be required Equal Opportunity Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
