The EPG Rental Technician is responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing EPG rental equipment for power, temperature control, air, pumps and used equipment at a Carter or customer facility. This position maintains all equipment by carrying out preventative maintenance and any required product improvement plans. Seeking candidates with previous experience with UPS and parallels, diagnosing and troubleshooting engine failures and performing mechanical repairs to electrical generator systems and related equipment; High school diploma or GED required./ppRequirements for the EPG Rental Technician position include:/pulliMust have a thorough understanding of Gensets, air compressors, fuel tanks, and pumps./liliMust be able to perform product improvement plans on Gensets, air compressors, fuel tanks, pups, UPS and paralleling./liliMust be able to work independently in the field as needed to support all PSD rental equipment./liliMust have advanced troubleshooting skills./liliMust work well in a team environment./liliMust be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills./liliMust be well organized and have the ability to prioritize workload while providing excellent customer service./liliBe available for after-hours emergency service requests for customers. 24/7/365./liliMust be able to work additional hours as required and travel out of town, including out of the country to meet customers demands./liliExperience in the use and application of electronic software./liliExcellent driving record required with the ability to obtain a CDL and/or DOT certification./liliPromote a positive customer experience./liliUphold the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way./li/ulpPhysical requirements must be met for the EPG Rental Technician job, including the ability to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 70 pounds, including bulky objects.
