Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Participate in education programs and utilize patient education materials
• Assess patient/family readiness and developmental level affecting learning ability
• Implement comprehensive care for patients with complex issues
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Consult with resources for patients with complex care needs
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
• Establish relationships with families to advocate for patient needs
• Plan and update care in collaboration with the patient/family

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• One (1) year of nursing experience
