Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to modify curriculum and lesson plans to meet a variety of student needs
• Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and staff
• Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to students with varying disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Conduct assessments and use data to inform instructional decisions
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
• Implement positive behavioral supports and interventions
• Uphold all state and federal regulations related to special education
