IT Systems Administrator

This is strictly an on-site position. WFH is not an option. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains network connectivity, e-mail, network security and telecommunications (phones and faxes). Manage/Implement Microsoft 365 products. Maintain and monitor backup solution. Patch Management using SCCM and WSUS. AD management including gpo, sites, dhcp and windows services. Able to maintain servers, SAN’s, virtual servers, network appliances and desktops. Ensures that both hardware and software function efficiently on a daily basis and remains in safe functioning condition with appropriate backup systems in place. Setup new servers, workstations and laptops for all personnel using SCCM deployment. Take tier 1 and 2 calls. This position will backup and assist desktop support if needed and will include: Break/fix Servers/desktops/laptops Install scanners and peripherals EDUCATION BA/BS preferred. EXPERIENCE A minimum of three (2) years of experience with a wide variety of computer hardware and software is required. REQUIREMENTS Must be able to travel to remote sites as needed. Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently Able to work after hours and on call SKILLS MS Server, M365, Exchange Online, Rubrik, DFS, Sharepoint, Teams, Hyper V, WSUS, virtualization, AD management, Knowledge of computer operating systems, software and hardware. Must have ability to multi-task. Able to prioritize and resolve critical problems. Must be able to communicate effectively in user-friendly terms verbally and in writing.
