As a member of the TAP Team, the Software Engineer II is a key contributor to the overall software delivery team, in a fast-paced IT environment testing multiple applications. They will develop solutions that will aid and improve the Quality Assurance Automation practices.Key Responsibilities:Develop and build tools using the latest AWS technologies (Lambda, API Gateways, S3 buckets etc)Develop Gen AI utilities that will aid and improve the Quality Assurance practicesDevelop Utilities that support automation frameworksCreate prototypes to validate concepts and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and usersContribute to continuous improvement in processes and proceduresExtend and maintain existing ApplicationsCollaborate with a globally distributed teamOther duties as requiredSkills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University (computer science, engineering or related field)Master’s degree would be a plusSkills and Qualifications:3+ years of experience in software engineeringProficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#).Foundation in Generative / Agentic AI toolingExperience with cloud platforms (AWS)Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL)Experience with API development Experience with Version control tools ( such as GIT)Experience with deployment tools like Jenkins, Harness or GITStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levelsStrong desire to succeedHigh-energy, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of programming language(s)Ability to provide results with minimal supervisionContribute individually and as a member of a teamVisa sponsorship not available for this roleSalary RangesCompensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
