Procurement Specialist
SGS Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Operational Procurement Support:
- Assist in the sourcing and development of packaging materials (glass, closures, labels, shippers, etc.) by collecting quotes, managing supplier communications, and ensuring accurate data in procurement systems.
- Project Tracking & Documentation:
- Support the execution and follow-up of packaging projects, ensuring timely updates of project trackers, supplier timelines, and risk logs.
- Supplier Management:
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers to gather delivery updates, resolve issues, and ensure documentation compliance (specs, drawings, and contracts).
- Administrative & Contractual Support:
- Prepare purchase orders, assist in drafting simple contract amendments, and coordinate documentation for approvals and system updates.
- Innovation Support:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and R&D to ensure packaging specifications are aligned and ready for new product launches.
- Data & Savings Tracking:
- Assist in collecting and consolidating data to support cost analyses, savings reports, and supplier performance evaluations.
